COP15

COP15 stands for 15th Conference on Climate Change and has begun today in Copenhagen. One hundred and ninety two countries -with 15,000 delegates from all over the world, will discuss for ten days and try to agree on a new treaty to fight global warming.
And at 7 pm on December the 16th the lights in Copehagen will be off for an hour (Earth Hour) so that people get aware of the importance of the environment and of climate change.
Now if you want to practice your English, try this moving speech from a 13-year-old girl in 1992: www.youtube.com/watch?v=TQmz6Rbpnu0
Have we done enough since then?
