INTERCANVI AMB l'INSTITUT VÄSTERHÖJD DE SKÖVDE, SUÈCIA

Dins de la línia d'intercanvis amb altres països de la Unió Europea, un grup de 15 alumnes de l'institut Campanar amb el seu professorat, s'han desplaçat a la ciutat de Skövde (Suècia) entre els dies 5 i 12 de desembre. Les noticies que ens arriben des d'allí ens indiquen que el nostre grup s'ha integrat satisfactòriament en aquesta comunitat escolar.

When we arrived at our destination (Skövde, Sweden), we had not imagined it would be such an extremely pleasant, warm and unforgettable experience. Thanks to the students, teachers, parents and others at the Gymnasiet Skövde Västerhöjd, we have been able to see Sweden from inside and this has been a stunning adventure. Thanks Teresa, Nina and Stefan for opening your arms to us and having us in your lessons. Thanks for the group photo, it's actually THE photo of the visit. And although waving bye bye from the bus was hard, this is definitely not the end of this all but the beginning. Let's "process" all those positive things we have seen, heard and felt in Skövde and, above all let's think about the future and about your visit to Valencia in March. Vi ses snart!!! PROVES HOMOLOGADES ANGLÈS 2012 (A2)

PROVES HOMOLOGADES PER A LA OBTENCIÓ DEL CERTIFICAT DE NIVELL BÀSIC A L’IES CAMPANAR-A2

L’informació es donarà als alumnes en classe.
Poden accedir tots els alumnes que tinguen almenys 16 anys complits el 31 de desembre de 2012.
La matrícula es farà del dia 1 al 14 de desembre de 2011.
La llista d’admessos es farà pública el 21 de desembre de 2011.
La llista de aprovats es farà pública el 1 de març de 2012.

HORARI DE LES PROVES:
Proves per a l'obtenció del Certificat de Nivell Bàsic d'Anglès (A2)
Els exàmens d'Anglès tindran lloc a la Sala d'Usos Múltiples el proper 25 de gener de 2012 a les 15.30 hores (Listening, Reading Comprehension and Writing), (140 minuts).
L'Expressió oral serà el 1 i 2 de febrer 2012 al departament d'Anglès. L’horari es comunicarà directament als alumnes matriculats depenent de la professora d’anglès que tinguen.

PROVA PAU ANGLÉS 2012

Adjuntem la informació que tenim en relació a les Proves d'Accés a la Universitat de 2012, enviada als centres educatius el dia 4 de Novembre 2011 per el Coordinador de les Proves PAU a la Comunitat Valenciana.

"......... respecte a la Prova oral d'Idioma de les PAU de 2012, la Comissió Gestora del Processos d'Accés i Preinscripció Universitària, en la seua reunió del dia 2 de novembre, ha acordat el següent:

Com el Ministeri d’Educació sembla que no publicarà, de moment, cap normativa que regule la prova oral i atès que no tenim fins el moment cap tipus d’informació de les característiques d'aquesta prova oral i de la conveniència de la seua implantació, considerant el que consta en el segon paràgraf de la disposició final segona del Reial Decret 1892/2008, de 14 de novembre, s’acorda, per les circumstàncies actuals, que en la nostra comunitat autònoma no es farà la prova oral d’idioma en les PAU de 2012. Així evitem que els estudiants que ara ja han començat el seu segon curs de batxillerat es vegen obligats a realitzar una prova que no està definida en el moment de començar els seus estudis de segon."

Exchange with Skövde, Sweden

Fifteen students and two teachers from the IES Campanar are travelling to Sweden next December to spend a week at the Västerhöjd Gymnasium in Skövde.

We are all looking forward to visiting their beautiful town and country and thus learning something about their people, their language, their customs and their lifestyle.

The Swedish students will come to Campanar Secondary School in March 2012.

26th of September EUROPEAN DAY OF LANGUAGES

"The more languages you know, the more of a person you are"

Next Monday the European Day of languages will be celebrated in all EU countries.

We invite students, parents and teachers to visit the link below which offers quizzes, games, facts and the history of this celebration, this year on its 10th anniversary. Spain is one of the EU countries with the fewest people speaking several languages. It's our duty to change that, isn't it?

Test your knowledge of languages and try to speak SOME, that is not only one. It's never too late.

You will also find posters, messages and some info in the hall of the school which some students of 2º ESO have prepared to celebrate the event.

And remember: Linguistic diversity= Multicultural understanding.

EXÁMENES PENDIENTES

Los alumna/os de 2º Bachillerato con el Inglés pendiente del curso anterior tendrán dos pruebas globales a lo largo del curso 2011-2012: El 16 de Enero y el 7 de Mayo de 2012 a las 17.55 horas y en la Sala de Usos Múltiples.

Los alumnos de 2º, 3º y 4ºde la ESO con el Inglés pendiente del curso anterior, si aprueban la 1ª evaluación de inglés, se les considerará aprobada la pendiente. De no ser así podrán presentarse a las pruebas correspondientes (16 de Enero y 7 de Mayo de 2012 a las 17.55 en la Sala de Usos Múltiples).

Tanto en el caso de los alumnos de Bachiller como en el de los de la ESO, en caso de no aprobar en Mayo 2012, la convocatoria siguiente sería en Septiembre 2012.

Es recorda a tots el alumnes de 1er i 2n Batxillerat interessats que han de fer l'ingrés de 250 euros el més aviat possible per poder comprar els vols. (la resta fins els 400 euros -150 euros- del 1 al 5 d'Octubre)

Convocatoria estatal para el Concurso de Jóvenes Traductores de la UE

Abierta la inscripción al concurso de jóvenes traductores de 2011

Bruselas, 1 de septiembre de 2011. Las escuelas de enseñanza secundaria pueden inscribir a sus alumnos a partir de hoy en el concurso anual de la UE para jóvenes traductores conocido como «Juvenes Translatores» enhttp://ec.europa.eu/translatores/index_es.htm. La inscripción se cerrará el 20 de octubre y el formulario para solicitarla en línea ya está disponible en todas las lenguas oficiales de la UE. El concurso, ahora en su quinto año, se celebrará el 24 de noviembre, a la misma hora en todos los centros seleccionados. Está abierto a los alumnos nacidos en 1994 y pueden participar más de setecientas cincuenta escuelas.

«El concurso promueve el aprendizaje de lenguas en las escuelas y la profesión de traductor», ha declarado Androulla Vassiliou, Comisaria Europea de Educación, Cultura, Multilingüismo y Juventud. «El conocimiento de lenguas puede abrir su mente a culturas diferentes y mejorar sus perspectivas laborales», añadió.

Los alumnos traducirán un texto de una página y podrán elegir cualquiera de las quinientas seis combinaciones lingüísticas posibles entre las veintitrés lenguas oficiales de la UE. Este año, el tema de los textos para traducir será el voluntariado, por celebrarse el Año Europeo del Voluntariado.

Cada escuela puede presentar hasta cinco alumnos. Estos pueden ser de cualquier nacionalidad, siempre y cuando estén matriculados en un centro de un Estado miembro de la UE. El año pasado participaron en el concurso 2 800 alumnos. Los traductores de la Comisión Europea puntuarán los textos y seleccionarán un ganador por país. En marzo de 2012 todos los ganadores serán invitados a Bruselas para recibir su premio.

COMENIUS MEETING IN VALÈNCIA (March 2011)

In March the five countries taking part in the Comenius Project The School as the Integration Engine, met in Valencia and here we welcomed them all (23 students plus 12 teachers from Geneva, Lipník nad Becvou, Lüneburg and Ajka) with open arms. Great expectations for this long-awaited scheduled mobility, which had extra added value since we could count on the participation of the headmasters of the Czech, German and Hungarian schools. They had a special meeting with our head teachers but they also took part like one more teacher in all the activities , something for which we must also thank them.

From the point of view of the IES Campanar as the coordinating school, we must say that it has been a real pleasure to have such good partner schools. We think that the regular and open communication together with the fruitful and active collaboration of the five countries have always been very smooth, always working harmoniously as in a perfect pas-de-cinq!

“The School as the Integration Engine” Comenius project ends with a conclusion “All different but all the same”. Are we but a tiny representation of the European Idea? We DO think so.
